Victory for IT apprentices
at the wood industry apprentice hackathon
The Austrian Wood Industry Association and Apprentigo organised the first hackathon for apprentices from companies in the wood industry. In teams, 44 apprentices from 11 companies developed digital app prototypes for their companies on topics of their choice. IT apprentices Benjamin, Daniel and Jeremias took part in the hackathon on behalf of THEURL and worked on an app for visitor management at THEURL. Our team took part in the Experts level, i.e. the highest of the 3 classes on offer, and they secured victory in their class. We congratulate them and wish them all the best for the national competition in autumn.
