Moisture protection
Ceiling elements in visible quality require special attention during production, transport and installation. A specially designed, self-adhesive membrane ensures effective moisture protection on the construction site.
This special solution was used for the “City Office”, for example.
Area of application
The membrane is water-repellent, so it is primarily used where CLTPLUS ceiling elements require weather protection. On request, it is applied in the factory overlapping the components to be protected and is available in various widths.

Large spans
thanks to ribbed ceilings
When planning large spans of over six metres, ribbed ceilings are considered a sensible and economical solution. Specifically, glulam and CLT are joined together using screw press bonding.
The “Wattens Primary School” project was realised with the help of ribbed ceilings.
Area of application
The technology is used wherever CLTPLUS ceiling elements with large spans are installed. The flexible dimensions of up to 3.5 x 16 metres with low panel thicknesses open up a wide range of possibilities for designers and guarantee maximum safety.
The ribbed slabs are dimensioned in accordance with ÖNORM B1995-1-1 Annex L.11.5, and certification is available in the form of Certificate A in accordance with 1052:10:2012, Table 2.

Large support grid for storey ceilings with TS3
In the spirit of future-oriented timber construction, the TS3 connection enables skeleton structures without support beams thanks to joint filling on the face side, which impress with slim, point-supported panels of any size.
The “Two family houses in Zollikerberg” project was realised using TS3 technology.
Area of application
Especially in large-scale timber construction with column spacing of up to eight by eight metres, this process enables architecturally outstanding timber solutions. The TS3 connection consists of a two-component polyurethane resin cast, which is partly made from renewable raw materials.
Since spring 2024, TS3 technology has had building authority approval and general type approval in Germany.

Stairs:
Up and down on wood
CLTPLUS stairs offer particularly convincing arguments for the construction of single-flight staircases: The direct connection of two floors without an intermediate landing can be realised as a solid wood element. In the joinery service centre, the stairs are manufactured individually and project-related according to the customer’s specifications and steps or lifting systems can also be produced according to the design and structural requirements.
Area of application
Another special feature: the CLTPLUS stairs, which are easy to install, can connect storeys during the construction phase, making the use of costly temporary stairs unnecessary. The soffit of the CLTPLUS stairs is available in visible, industrial plus and industrial qualities. The format, structure and length are always customised to the project.

X-FIX: Connector for
CLTPLUS ceiling elements
Point-shaped, self-tightening, dovetail-shaped – the innovative X-fix timber-timber connector joins cross-laminated timber ceilings and walls in a shear and tension-resistant manner.
Area of application
When the XFIX connection is hammered in, the CLTPLUS solid wood elements are pulled together in a form-fit and force-fit manner. This enables rapid assembly and also allows the stepped rebate or rebate board to be replaced. Assembly is carried out by inserting the first part into the prefabricated groove, followed by inserting the second part and then fixing it in place by hammering it in.

Hilti P2P connections for
CLTPLUS ceiling elements
The productive and secure CLTPLUS ceiling connectors ensure a perfect fit. The connector is inserted into the factory
prefabricated routing and fixed in place using an impact wrench and eccentric attachment.
Area of application
Innovative connector for aligning and fastening CLTPLUS cross laminated timber elements. The P2P connector creates a direct wood-to-wood element connection. Suitable for use in dry interior spaces.

Wood connector
Hilti HCW
Efficient timber connector system for fast assembly of prefabricated cross-laminated timber elements. The high tensile and shear load-bearing capacities allow more freedom in construction and permit static anchoring of the timber elements with the most precise positioning and levelling at the same time.
Area of application
The factory-drilled and screwed-in HCW connectors speed up and facilitate the assembly and fastening of cross-laminated timber walls. The connector can be used between timber and timber as well as between timber and concrete.
