A new location for cross laminated timber. THEURL HOLZ STEINFELD GmbH, founded specifically for CLTPLUS production, expands our company’s value chain. Here we produce the most efficient building material that can be sourced from wood as a raw material. Our factory turns cross-laminated board layers into a highly resilient, efficient and lightweight building material.

The finished
product in 6 steps

Grade sorting

Grade sorting is the first crucial production step. The system inspects and sorts the boards fully automatically according to quality and strength.

Production finger-jointing and planing

Defects marked during grade sorting are detected by the optimising cross-cut saw at the start and sawn out. The remaining quality parts are joined together with finger joints.

Narrow side gluing

Once the four sides of the lamellas have been planed, their sides are glued and pressed into a single-layer board.
Gluing several boards together crosswise results in a highly resilient multi-layer board.

Block press

The block press system
presses several single-layer boards into a multi-layer board. The number of layers depends on subsequent requirements.

CNC portal

Three modern CNC joinery machines combine CLTPLUS elements quickly and precisely into any planned shape.

ORDER PICKING WAREHOUSE

With our 3D loading space optimisation (LRO), truck-loading can be planned three-dimensionally, in advance on the computer, according to the Tetris principle.

Joinery centre

We manufacture CLTPLUS components entirely according to the customer's specifications.

The wide range of dimensions allows us to design buildings entirely according to customer requirements. Our customers appreciate our order-related “just-in-time” production.
