The finished product in 6 steps
Grade sorting
Depending on production planning, the work preparation department specifies which quality and dimensions are to be sorted fully automatically.
Finger-jointing plant
At the finger-jointing plant, the identified and marked defects on the boards are first cut out, then 15 mm long finger joints are milled into the shortened boards.
Double-deck press high-frequency system
The high-frequency press is an efficient production system that delivers maximum output thanks to short pressing times.
Pre-planer, cross-cut saw, finish planer
After the adhesive has cured, the wood is planed, any visible glue residue is removed, edges are bevelled and profiles can be milled into the glulam using planing heads on the finish planer.
Mending station
The end product is visually inspected on all sides at the mending station by experienced employees and repaired if necessary.
ORDER PICKING WAREHOUSE
To enable optimal processing of all orders, the glulam components are temporarily stored in the fully automated picking warehouse and transferred to the joinery systems when ready.
