New special solution for THEURL CLTPLUS products

Every timber construction project has its own specific requirements – not only in terms of the structure itself, but also regarding the protection, appearance and durability of the timber surfaces. With our factory-applied coatings, we are expanding our range of special solutions for CLTPLUS and ensure that timber components are optimally protected before, during and after installation.

Depending on the project requirements, different systems are used – ranging from UV-protective coatings and coloured glazes to end-grain sealants and wood preservative treatments. This helps to preserve the natural appearance of the timber in the long term while also increasing the components’ resistance to external influences.

Practical implementation

The current RGO Altenmarkt im Pongau project demonstrates how this solution is put into practice. Around 2,000 m² of CLTPLUS elements were treated with a UV-protective coating to preserve the natural appearance of the wood in the long term and to reliably protect the components from the elements.

With our factory-applied coatings and surface finishes, we now offer even greater flexibility to meet individual customer requirements – from preserving the high-quality wood surface to providing targeted protection for both indoor and outdoor use. In this way, we combine the highest surface quality with protection, durability and a bespoke solution for modern timber construction projects.
