What you can expect from the dual apprenticeship

This and much more awaits you in the dual apprenticeship as a metal technician and electrician:

  • Specialist knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics and instrumentation and control technology
  • Monitoring, optimisation and control of processes
  • Commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of production systems
  • Production of circuit, wiring and assembly diagrams
  • Performing electronic, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic calculations
  • Fabrication, assembly and maintenance of machines and components with different control systems and application of modern welding techniques

  • Training duration: 4 years
  • Field of specialisation:
    3.5 years basic module
    0.5 years main module in plant and operating technology
  • Vocational school: Vocational school Villach 2
  • Apprentice salary:
    1st year of apprenticeship € 934.04 net, 2nd year of apprenticeship € 1342.49 net, 3rd year of apprenticeship € 1702.57 net, 4th year of apprenticeship € 1842.10 net.
    From the age of 18, you automatically earn the apprenticeship income of the 3rd year of apprenticeship.</li
