Successful collaboration in timber construction planning

The architect, the timber constructor and Theurl worked closely together as a team on the Achomitz house. Thanks to the integrated planning between producers and contractors, the use of resources was minimised and a high degree of prefabrication was achieved at the same time. Costs were reduced and the building could be erected in the shortest possible time.

Mario Wölik, Managing Director of Holzbau- und Projektmanagement GmbH, praises the close cooperation and excellent teamwork between the three parties: “I was particularly impressed by the high quality of the technical implementation and the precise elaboration of the details. The close coordination between the parties involved was crucial for the successful realisation of the project.” Haus Achomitz is therefore a great example of the architectural quality that characterises modern timber construction.

The surface qualities of the wood are outstanding and give the building an unmistakable atmosphere...

… The largely visible CLT elements significantly characterise the design and take on both structural and design functions. They combine high architectural standards with precision craftsmanship and contribute significantly to the aesthetic effect and spatial quality of the project”
