"Seerosi" Beach Buffet

Since July 2026, the new “Seerosi” beach café on Lake Erlauf in Mariazell has been offering a special place to relax and enjoy oneself. The modern timber structure combines functionality with a natural design and blends harmoniously into the landscape surrounding the lake. Situated right on the water’s edge, the building creates a welcoming atmosphere. THEURL supplied CLTPLUS for this project.

Sustainable architecture

in harmony with nature

When designing the “Seerosi”, the focus was on combining functionality with integration into the landscape. To this end, a timber structure was created which is not only durable and stable, but also blends harmoniously into the rural surroundings of Lake Erlauf.

The construction process highlighted the efficiency of modern timber construction techniques: following the start of building works in autumn 2025, all timber construction work was successfully completed within a tight six-month schedule. The result is a modern meeting place with around 30 cosy seats indoors and a spacious terrace, which, with over 150 seats, offers space for numerous visitors.

LRO as a key to success

Efficiency through smart logistics

Special projects call for special solutions. To save valuable time on the Erlaufsee construction site, we relied on our ‘just-in-time’ logistics. A key component of this is our LRO (load space optimisation) software solution.

LRO ensures that all components are loaded in exactly the order in which they are required on site. This minimises waiting times, avoids time-consuming reloading and ensures a highly efficient assembly process.
