Nötsch
Gailtal

Just in time for the start of the new nursery year, the children in Nötsch im Gailtal can look forward to more space to play, learn and explore. The new extension, designed to accommodate two additional groups, has been built using modern timber construction techniques and offers a natural, cosy atmosphere. As a sustainable building material, timber combines maximum functionality with a healthy indoor environment and a responsible outlook for the future.

A natural spot for little explorers

In places where children spend a large part of their day, it is not just functionality that matters. The atmosphere and quality of the rooms also play an important role. Wood offers some special qualities in this regard:

A natural sense of space

Wood creates a warm, cosy atmosphere and brings a touch of nature into everyday life.

Sustainability comes to life

The children come into contact with this natural building material every day and, quite naturally, develop a connection with nature and natural resources.

A comfortable indoor climate

Wood can absorb and release moisture, thereby helping to maintain a balanced indoor climate.

Pleasant acoustics

With the right design and construction, timber can help to create pleasant room acoustics. This is a real advantage, particularly in nursery classrooms.

A nursery school building for the future: The Nötsch Nursery School project demonstrates that timber construction and child-friendly architecture complement each other perfectly. Natural, sustainable and designed for the next generation.
