A healthy environment for the little ones

The building was designed by architects goya. Realised over two levels, the timber construction is adapted to the needs of the children both indoors and outdoors and offers plenty of space to play. The building is located directly adjacent to the primary school. Four units are organised on 1,070 m² of usable space. On the ground floor, the cluster consists of three group rooms, one of which is for very young children, and the administration. On the upper floor there are two further group rooms and a room for the music school.

Timber construction creates a good climate

Wood as a building material scores highly in many respects. The high degree of prefabrication enables an extremely short construction time, which has a positive effect on the construction costs, and the kindergarten could even be occupied a few months earlier than planned. Apart from the educational aspect: the youngest children learn by example how important it is to think and act sustainably – and also to build sustainably.
