The small village of Chelsea in Quebec, Canada lies just a few kilometres from Ottawa. The client family has undertaken a special project here: located on a plot of land right in the middle of Canada’s forest paradise, with a view over Lac Meech, they decided to build a two-story single-family house with CLTPLUS.
In Nature, With Nature
The timber building was erected in just a few weeks. The project required detailed planning. The structural solid wood components were prefabricated at the factory with all the necessary drilling and milling for the installation.
Indoor wall and ceiling elements in Visual Quality were left largely unprocessed to lend a natural character and create a homely atmosphere.
This is a special project that is dedicated to sustainability.
